Where can I see the other alternate endings?
Some of them are in the books. All of them are in our
Patreon Vault.
Why Woohooligan? APhalanxOfPhalusses.com was taken.
How often do you publish comics? As often as I can. I've committed to making comedy 40 hours a week, you know, like a real job. ;) But like any other real job, it's not all glamour and I have to spend a lot of time reading tedious marketing books. You can help me do that less and make more comedy on our Patreon.
Who do you think you are?!
Samuel Isaac Dealey - software engineer, cartoonist, autistic
and in general eccentric weirdo. Born and raised in Dallas, Texas. Lived all over.

I know some of you may have felt the previous repentance portion of the story dragged a little, so you'll be happy to know that from here on out the story moves pretty quickly! Trust me when I say you'll never guess what's coming in the next few pages. ;)
You might think after all that build-up, that this page seems a bit anticlimactic. If so, then you know just how Amy feels. ;)
My thought for the day however is this:
Imagine for a moment that you're the kind of person who is constantly beating yourself up about how you're not living up to the impossible standard set forth in the Christian bible. Imagine that you spend every waking moment, repenting, flogging yourself for every "impure thought" or every time you missed church. If you're running around with a scoreboard of your own failings, making yourself totally MISERABLE like that, and you think that reflects what God wants, what kind of heaven do you think that god would create? What would lead you to believe that if following that god's teachings on earth makes you miserable here, that you wouldn't also be miserable in heaven?
As I've said, I'm a Unitarian, and my own beliefs about god (if there is one), are somewhat different. I tend to think that if there is a god, he'd want us to experience all that life has to offer! :) That's sure to come with some sorrow and loss -- we all have to know that -- broken promises, friendships ended, loved-ones lost... but it also comes with great joy! New friendships made, old ones rekindled, singing, dancing, challenges overcome, good food and celebrations shared!
Whatever the day might bring, get out there and make it awesome!
"Heaven, heaven is a place, a place where nothing ever happens."
I've been thinking - was your depiction of Hell inspired by the claims of Christian apologists that the bible never actually claims that Hell is a place of torment, and that it's just a place/state of separation from God?
Oddly enough, no. Someone else mentioned that idea in a comment on a previous page, that they believe that we put ourselves in hell, rather than god putting us there.
Anyway, no, this story is kind of an allegory, but I don't want to say much else, because I don't want to give away the ending. ;)
p.s. Thanks for sharing those lyrics. I liked the Talking Heads songs that got radio play, but I never owned any of their albums, so I hadn't heard that song. :)
