Are you a hooligan?! Are you making yourself a
mix tape because you're dating yourself? Are you building a time machine
to return to the... last night? Do you read <3 as "less than tits"?
Donate!
If you enjoy Woohooligan, this is a great way to help make sure
more comics are available in the future. While
$20,
$10
or even $5
would be nice, any amount helps,
even a dollar! Donations pay for our advertising, help us keep the comics
free to the public and some donors may even appear in future comics.
WTF?!
Why Woohooligan? APhalanxOfPhalusses.com was taken.
How often do you publish comics? Usually once a week, sometimes more.
I make no promises: this is a labor of love.
Where can I see the other alternate endings?
In the books! Which aren't available yet. If you'd like to see books sooner,
you can help make that happen by sharing the comics with your friends and family -
on Facebook,
Twitter, Tumblr, etc.
Especially the dick jokes! Families love dick jokes! Also mention the comic
on your blog or if you know someone who reviews comics, suggest it to them.
Who do you think you are?!
Samuel Isaac Dealey - software engineer, cartoonist, autistic
and in general eccentric weirdo. Born and raised in Dallas, Texas. Lived all over.
STALK ME!
The best way to talk to me is via DeviantART or email
(sam at comiccomet.com - although I don't check it as often lately).
If you just want updates, any of these sites will help you read
(in order of how frequently they're updated).
It's impossible to know how much of my social anxiety is a product of my autism and how much is a product of being an artist. There seems to be some overlap. Anyway, the long and the short of it is my fear of foot-in-mouth syndrome often leads me to over-think the simplest things. The results are often pretty silly, like I don't really know how to take complements. I guess what I'm trying to say is, I really did like that gift you got me last Christmas. I wasn't just being polite, I really can't have too many pairs of argyle socks. ;P
Though I am always flattered when people share my work through their social networks, be they electronic or old-school. And I'm especially flattered when it's someone I've barely spoken to or don't really know at all, as was the case with RockstarVanity.
Right about the time she posted to her tumblr I also uploaded my last strip and over the past week I've been suddenly really popular in Europe. I'm still kind of scratching my head on that one. Was it Vanity? Or do Europeans just really dig comics about psychology? Maybe I should try and really break into the European market with an in-depth series of comics featuring Pavlov, Konrad Lorenz, and the invisible gorilla. Heinrich! Heinrich, come qvick, ist a comic aboot behavioral imprinting in geese! ;P
In any event, I know all you autistic folks out there can relate to this comic. What about you artist folks? Is it the same for you? Is responding to praise a courageous act? ;P
